Club Calendar.
Our diving expeditions have taken our members all over the world - from Egypt to Malta, Norway, Cuba and Canada to name just a few.
In the UK, members have dived all around the coastline from Scapa Flow in the Orkneys, down the east coast and on many wrecks and reefs along the English Channel.
Our members have a wide range of diving interests including marine biology, marine archaeology, photography and technical diving with mixed gases.
Our Diving Officer works hard to ensure that we offer a range of different opportunities for all of our members; she also welcomes new suggestions or offers of help to organise trips.
Forthcoming events can be found below, although the times for dive trips are indicative, subject to confirmation by the Dive Officer or trip organiser.

Menai Boat Run 2026
LUEC members will once again be taking our beloved Vixen across to Wales to participate in the annual Menai Boat Run.
The ever-popular event raises much needed funds for the RNLI.

Kernow DiveFest 2026
The Kernow Dive Fest is a dive and fundraising weekend organised by a group of associated BSAC dive clubs in Cornwall and Devon. LUEC is hoping to once again support the 24th annual event, and help raise funds for DDRC Healthcare in Plymouth.

Plymouth dive trip
This summer, LUEC will be travelling to Plymouth Sound for a weekend of scuba diving. Local dive sites include the artificially sank HMS Scylla, the James Eagan Layne, and the Eddystone Reef.

LUEC will be returning to Capernwray in Lancashire this summer for our third annual diving weekend. With lots to explore at this inland quarry site, this dive trip is open to all qualified divers.

LUEC Farnes Trip 2024- Placeholder
Lesley is kindly organising our trip to the Farnes for 2025- If you want the opportunity to dive with young seals, and experience some gorgeous coastal diving then this is the trip for you.
This trip is now full, however you can join the waitlist in case anyone pulls out. Its a great week diving with seals and exploring the coastline.

North Wales AD Rib Trip
Advanced Diver Trainee Rich is planning a RIB trip to North Wales as part of his AD training.
There is space for 5 divers (Sports Diver qualified and above).
The planned sites are mainly wrecks (!) and potentially the Resurgam (subject to getting approvals!) which is one of the worlds first powered submarines from 1880.

Quarry Tour 2025- Capernwray Weekender!
We had so much fun last year we are headed back for another long weekend!
Come and join the quarry tour - Capernwray edition for a weekend of diving. Dive Leader Pete is coordinating accommodation for those who wish to dive the whole weekend.
Divers are also welcome to join for the day, and there is still at least one space in the communal house if you wanted to stay over. Reach out to Pete for more details!
